Captain America

Captain America

A bit of a departure from the usual X-Men. I thought I'd get a Captain America done as he seemed an easy enough character to make (though did have a fair bit of trouble getting the arms to look right.. especially the one holding the shield.)

There really isn't anything hugely different from the basics on him. Hope you all enjoy. I thought I'd go with the classic Steve Rogers look, but I will be doing a variant soon :)

Here's Cap......

The pictures not great. Hopefully il get a better one up soon. He doesn't look as evil in real life as he does in this pic either.

Download Captain America here

Hope you all enjoy. Feel free to show other people my site and to post pictures of any of your models when you complete them.

Any comments welcome

Great work on this one. I love this site!!!!

Do you have a place for us to contribute models? I made one of Jubilee, not quite as good as yours. I took some pieces from your other models and did some minor tweaking. Its made from parts of gambit, rougue, psylocke, and cyclopse.

OMG! That Jubilee is great! :D Nice work, glad you've enjoyed making them :) Notice a Rogue next to her, you made many of the other models then?

Next update I do (probably the Bucky Variant) I'l put the picture up for everyone to see.

(btw Jef, if you're about, did you ever get around to finishing the Madrox you were working on?)

Here is a pic of all the ones I've made so far. I make them all at 1/2 scale, and when I hacked together the Jubilee, I printed her a bit too small. But, she is a kid, so it kind of works.

If you want more pics of Jubilee, or the PDF for Jubilee, let me know, I can email you them.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I also re-colored Wolverine to match the 90's cartoon version (My favorite) I have the PDF for that one too.

Awesome site, Excellent models. I cant wait to see who else in the x-men / marvel univers is released (Nightcrawler and spider-man are my personal favourites:) ).
A section for contributor/ guest designer models would be great. i for one would love a copy of HyperDavs Jubilee or Wolverine (90s costume) models and i found this model of Deadpool on deviant art http://sharkbomb.deviantart.com/art/Deadpool-paper-hero-164392911

Saw the Wolverine, looks pretty cool. I've been intending on redoing Wolvie at some point, to bring him more in line quality wise with that 90s Cyclops and Jean (he was one of my first models, think Colosus needs an upgrade too, especially body wise, but I'm waiting until I make a Thor so I have a "Large Stocky Character" base that I can use for his body too.

Email me over your pictures and PDFs for both to mypaperheroes@hotmail.co.uk and I'l share them with everyone :). I hadn't seen the Deadpool either, I didn't even realise there were many people customising them out there! Glad you all like them so much. I think I'm going to have to start doing contributor / guest posts.

Will get a Spidey done soon. Currently working on Kurt, here's the WIP I posted in another thread...

Wow all your models are awesome indeed.

I just finished the Gambit out of normal paper, he looks just great. I had a little problem with the hair (didn't know exactly where to stick the sides) and I put the cuff-links on the inside but still mega cool :-)

Can't wait to see your Nightcrawler (my 2nd favourite after gambit) you're working on the head looks really great.

Oh, BTW, could you maybe redo the face of Colossus if you're planing on changing him, now he looks really sad I think :-), don't he ?

yup. his face does look really sad

hi i'm french and i think your work is just amazing!!! did you think you can make DARDEVIL or SPAWN(is not a marvel but i'm found of this heroes)

Yeah I do think I need to get around to a Spidey soon. I should have a variant of Cap up very soon so hopefully you'l like that one more Spidy.

Colusus does need a bit of a redo, he was my second model so my skills have come a long way since then. I think the sad face kinda suited him at the time, he's not exactly had a fun, happy life. Maybe now he's got Kitty back in Uncanny he could do with a smile.

Daredevil I want to do soon too :) Too many possible characters, not enough time lol.
